Whether it’s your first or 20th, I’m here to help with my Amazon must-haves for your next cruise!
Cruising is the type of travel experience where you want to be prepared and have everything ready. If you think you might need it, bring it! Let’s get to it!
Luggage Tag Holder
I know, you have a luggage tag. But, you likely don’t have one to fit your cruise luggage tags. Most cruise lines will ask you to print your luggage tags at home. You’ll want something to protect those luggage tags from the rain so you know your luggage will show up at your stateroom door.
Double-check the dimensions of your specific cruise line and be sure to buy the correct size.

A lanyard
Is your cruise line still using key cards? You can make your life easier and carry it in a lanyard to have the card handy whenever needed.

Cruise Card Phone Holder
You don’t like the idea of wearing a lanyard everywhere you go? Maybe you would prefer a phone cardholder? You don’t want the hassle of having to get your card replaced!

Cruise-approved power bar
Many cabins only have 1 or 2 plugs. You may need extras if you like to bring all your gadgets. Phone, speaker, headphones, iPad…… However, it’s essential that you don’t bring a regular power bar from home. You need a non-surge-protected “cruise approved” power bar.

Over-the-door organizer
You either become an expert at taking advantage of small spaces or quickly become overwhelmed by having your items overtake your stateroom. This mesh over the door organiser will help keep all that clutter at bay.

Magnetic Cabin Hooks
Another great way to add cabin space is to use magnetic hooks. The walls are metal, so you’ll be hanging hats, bags, and anything else you want to keep within arm’s reach.

Magnetic Clips
If you want to keep your stateroom desk uncluttered, you may want to bring a couple of metal clips. You can use them to keep your cruise planners in one easy-to-find spot!
Yes, those walls are metal so use them!

Collapsible Water Bottle
You may be surrounded by water, but if you bought the drink package you’ll quickly become dehydrated! I love that these collapsible water bottles take up very little room in your luggage when you aren’t using them. And certain cruise lines have banned one-use plastic bottles.

Hot and Cold Travel Mug
Whether filling it with Hot Chocolate in Alaska or a Margarita in the Bahamas, you may want to bring a hot and cold travel mug to keep your favorite beverage at the perfect temperature!

Wrinkle Release Spray
Your stateroom won’t have an iron. While you can ask to use one, I find it easier to simply give my clothes a quick spay with Downy Wrinkle Release Spray. This is top of my list of Amazon must-haves for your next cruise!

Tide To Go Stick
You don’t always have access to a washer. A Tide To Go Stick will help keep your Cruise Clothes looking clean!

Towel Clips
It can get windy on deck, so you may want to bring along some towel clips . Nothing is worse than running after a runaway towel on a slippery deck! You’re bound to break a leg. Or worse, spill a drink.

Towel Bands
If you are really trying to conserve space in your suitcase, you may prefer these towel bands. They come in all sorts of cute colors. Take them on any beach vacation!

Poo-Pourri Bathroom Spay
This Poo-Pourrie is a MUST-bring item! Staterooms are small. Do everyone a favor and have a nice selection standing by. You’ll never be too shy to go….You’ll thank me for this item on the Amazon must-haves for your next cruise list!

Hanging Toiletry Bag
These hanging toiletry bags are very practical and help keep your cramped space organized and clean. I bring mine everywhere I go!

Travel Jewelry Bag
Nothing is worse than struggling to untangle a mess of necklaces five minutes before the big night! Keep your jewels organized throughout your journey with a travel jewelry bag.

Kindle
Space is in short supply on vacation; if you love to read, a Kindle will be much lighter than a bunch of paper.

Binoculars
A pair of binoculars is a must on any cruise! Whether you’re sailing to Alaska or spotting pirates in the Caribbean. You’ll be glad to be able to see further than the naked eye!

Crew Thank You Cards
Last but not least on the Amazon must-have list for your next cruise! They work so hard to make your vacation memorable, so why not reward them? Whether it’s a simple thank you, or an extra gratuity for going above and beyond. These thank you cards will come in handy.

Now that you’re armed with my Amazon must-haves for your next cruise, where do you want to go? Alaska is, by far, one of my favorite cruise destinations. Whether you’re sailing with Princess or Cunard, you’re in for a trip of a lifetime! I have two exclusive Alaska sailings in 2024. You can find them here: Alaska By Cunard and Princess Danali Cruise Tour.
